Romans 13:1-5 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people.
Efeso 6:
Mga Sandatang Kaloob ng Diyos 10 Bilang pagwawakas, magpakatibay kayo sa kalakasang galing sa Panginoon at sa kanyang dakilang kapangyarihan. 11 Gamitin ninyo ang lahat ng kagamitan at sandatang pandigma na kaloob ng Diyos, upang mapaglabanan ninyo ang mga pakana ng diyablo. 12 Sapagkat hindi tayo nakikipaglaban sa mga tao, kundi sa mga pinuno, sa mga maykapangyarihan, at sa mga tagapamahala ng kadilimang umiiral sa sanlibutang ito---ang mga hukbong espirituwal ng kasamaan sa himpapawid. 13 Kaya't isuot ninyo ang kasuotang pandigma na mula sa Diyos. Sa gayon, makalalaban kayo kapag dumating ang masamang araw na sumalakay ang kaaway, upang pagkatapos ng labanan ay matatag pa rin kayong nakatayo. 14 Kaya't maging handa kayo. Ibigkis sa inyong baywang ang sinturon ng katotohanan, at isuot sa dibdib ang baluti ng katuwiran; 15 isuot ninyo ang sandalyas ng pagiging handa sa pangangaral ng Magandang Balita ng kapayapaan. 16 Lagi ninyong gawing panangga ang pananampalataya, na siyang papatay sa lahat ng nagliliyab na palaso ng diyablo. 17 Isuot ninyo ang helmet ng kaligtasan, at gamitin ang tabak ng Espiritu, na walang iba kundi ang Salita ng Diyos. 18 Ang lahat ng ito'y gawin ninyo na may panalangin at pagsamo. Manalangin kayo sa lahat ng pagkakataon, sa patnubay ng Espiritu. Lagi kayong maging handa, at patuloy na ipanalangin ang lahat ng hinirang ng Diyos.
