When Lynsey Quy mysteriously vanishes on Christmas Day, her husband reports her missing. Psychic Joe Power has a nightmarish vision of a woman brutally murdered, and convinced it's Lynsey seeking help, he takes his information to the police, who don't follow through. Frustrated, Joe follows clues from his vision--images of the gruesome murder, a fairground, tractors, and a railroad track--to a beach community where Lynsey resided with her husband Mitchell and their two children. Meanwhile, a new detective takes over the case and brings Mitchell in for questioning. A little digging proves that things weren't as rosy as Mitchell initially stated. Eventually, he cracks and confesses to slaying his young wife. When Lynsey's remains are recovered, they're found in the exact locations Joe had previously visited.
